Playful, bold and exuberant, Black Line Crazy is a brand with adventure at its heart and where the color black always takes center stage. One day, New York-based Dutch branding maverick Mary van de Wiel landed in the middle of México, picked up a brush and a can of black house paint and, for the first time in her life, started to paint floor to ceiling. It turned her world upside down. That’s when the scale of her work grew bigger, bolder and more impulsive.

It kicked off in a studio in San Miguel de Allende, México, exploded floor to ceiling in Brooklyn, New York, and then in Sydney, Australia, burst across murals, home furnishings, upholstery, gallery windows, and printed textiles.

Now back in México, she’s recently launched her first Black Line Crazy Collection. Starting with vegan leather in México City, she printed her BLC artwork on messenger bags, totes and zippered portfolio sleeves, all in limited editions.

Body made from three-step process: Original painting printed on polyvinyl material (60% Polyurethane, 40% Polyester), embossed for texture + coated with aqua seal to provide a level of protection from dirt + water.

• Lining: Striped black-and-white material. 100% Polyester; backing material 100% canvas.

• Two internal pockets: One zippered w/ round leather pull; the other pocket trimmed with leather.

• Light aluminum support & two press studs at the top designed to keep flap opening/closing effortless.

• Black leather corners added to the outside flap and bottom of the bag.

• 31.5” long cross body strap (63” total length)

• Wrapped up inside a zippered black mesh “dust bag” with black leather trim + black round leather zipper pull. Great for storage and travel!
