Maia’s work is designed using a three-dimensional rendering computer program in her Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania studio. The individual pieces are laser-cut out of carbon steel which she then hand-finishes. These pieces are made of steel and plated with 24-karat gold. All ear posts and wire are sterling silver.
