Here at MCD, we continue to extend our thoughts and support to those affected by Hurricane Helene. Many artists, designers, makers, and fellow creatives, including several represented in the Museum Store, have been impacted.
To support the affected artists in the Museum Store directly, we are donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their work back to the artists.

The Large Driftwood Vase is a tall, impactful piece that really stands out and has presence, even without flowers! But to see it really come alive, use it to anchor a unique arrangement like a branch of cherry blossoms in the spring, or a selection of small, colorful autumn branches fallen in a storm.

Designed to feel like they were made through a natural process - like driftwood getting worn down on the beach over years at sea, or pebbles rolling around the bottom of a mountain stream. Combing a beach after a storm I love seeing what has washed up- these bits of detritus changed from their journeys and exposure to the forces of time and tide.
