Joe Seltzer is a woodturner and avid collector of wood art. He is a founding Board Member of the Collectors of Wood Art (CWA), and was on the Board for 12 years, including a term as President. Joe is an educator and hobby wood turner, a passionate collector, organizer, and advocate for wood turning.

Joe’s collection started with nothing larger than 6″ pieces. Seltzer is the Vice President of the Bucks (County, PA) Woodturners and the national organization, the Collectors of Wood Art.

Chittum Burl Bowl

Made from beautiful red Smoke Tree wood burl. Signed on the bottom: 05 Joe Seltzer Chittam Burl. Measures approx. 0.75” high x 1” wide x 1” deep.

Afzelia Vase

Made from beautiful yellow toned afzelia sapwood burl. Signed on the bottom: JOE SELTZER AFZELIA BURL 2006 SAPWOOD. Measures approx. 1.5” high x 1” wide x 1” deep.

Ebony Vase

A striking mix of deep black-brown and pale wood turned into a sweet miniature vase. No signature or other markings. Measures approx. 0.75" high x 1" wide x 1" deep.

Cornucopia Vessel

Rounded egg-shaped cornucopia. Signed on the bottom: SELTZER. Measures approx. 1.25" high x 1.25” wide x 2” deep.
