Husband and wife team José (born in France) and Trisha (born in Iraq) work together to create stunning pieces of woodwork; in their Huonville, Tasmania studio, José’s masterful hand turns the wood, and Trisha finishes each piece to a smooth polish. They prize the natural beauty of Australian wood and aim to bring out the native features in each piece.

While most of the Lehete’s work is given a foil stamp on the bottom, this bowl is lucky enough to feature a hand-drawn signature from José on the base.
