Split Cedar Studios is the home and collaborative studios of partners Doug Calisch and Laura Conners; an enterprise at the intersection of creative production, healthy living, family, and marriage.

The focus at SCS is to create thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted objects: both artwork and functional pieces. Doug is a sculptor and a furniture designer/maker. Laura is an artist and Yoga instructor.

For 35 years, the couple has collaborated and produced works of art for: theatrical productions, public and private art collections, commissioned furniture, furnishings, and yoga props.

They live and work together on ten wooded acres of Indiana’s Sugar Creek watershed. When not in the studios, you will find them gardening, beekeeping, or practicing yoga.
