Stefanie Kölbel, owner of Spitzenstuecke based in Germany, produces filigree jewelry using traditional lace methods. Materials such as wafer-thin stainless steel wire and hand-dyed polyamide are used to achieve new forms of expression and structures that cannot be achieved with textiles.

After making lace using a bobbin, the result is shaped into three-dimensional objects. Small treasures are created, the value of which is not defined by the material, but rather by the time invested in the manufacturing by hand.
